right i didnt know my car had an alarm but its been fine for about a year now and just tonight whenever i leave it with the keys out the ignition after a few mins the horn just sounds continuously.. any ideas?

is it not the factory fitted power sounder going off on one?
(drivers side scuttle pannel - near where the loom comes through?)

if it is the 'power sounder' im pretty sure it has its own power supply and can only be stopped by removing and throwing in the bin.....
....removing the horn would have little or no effect

part of the factory fitted alarm........theres a limited lifetime of 5years-ish on them tho...
IIRC there very expensive to replace too

Ive disconnected the battery for now and it seems to have stopped it.. for now.
