And doesn't the engine need taking out to do the cambelt? or something along those lines?

They are pretty damn sexy looking cars though.

Car has full service history from Renault INCLUDING THE 5 YEAR CAMBELT CHANGE and I also had the water pump replaced when they were doing it! Beware, not many cars for sale have had this done and cost is circa £1000!!

No such thing as a wrong desicsion....

Its going to be HIS/RACH's car, not your lots! The astra is cheaper than the scoob, it may be a better drivers car, but the vxr i assume from the reviews will still be a hoot to own/drive....

So i say let him be

xxx

thats what i meant jambo, people are saying its a bad descision, but there not the ones who have to live with the car, and make sure its evreything they want

my only intrest in convincing people to buy cars is the one where i keep sending you ad ford escoss's till you buy one

Well blow me i seen and sat in a black VXR today and i must say they look SO much better than in pics etc

Just havn't driven one to compare to a scooby.Having had FWD RWD and 4WD cars i can honestly say 4WD is so much safer and can help exploit the performance on offer.Mind you the VXR would be fun to wrestle with...

Would be nice to have the choice TBH

Pics don't do the inside of a VXR justice.

There is a silver VXR round my way, I think if I was getting one it'd be silver. Makes the car look more classy, and not as garish. I don't think you'd be disappointed if you get the VXR.
