daimo, please, i would have thought you would know the deal here. its not just a case of if the let can be good for 400 (have ran 450 with std inlet manifold) that the xe can, it has one major factor helping it get the air in.
if you search back through years and years of migweb you will see sbd etc etc will struggle to make near 180bhp on a std inlet manifold. they used to sell an mbe ecu, ditched the afm and would get it to about 175-180 max.

the bhp was 179 there was alot of work done to the head aswell as mentioned b4 i dont think alot of people have read the spec on the engine
