I've just found out that my corsa has 256mm brakes as standard on 1600 (thanks to mr haynes manual) compared to 230 something on 1400's and the likes.
i then checked ebay and all the 2.0 astra brake setups are 256mm as well.
soooo.... what is the difference? any difference in calipers etc? cos i was wondering if they are the same why do people go for "2.0" brakes when the ones of the 1600's are the same?

2.0 brakes have a bigger piston in the caliper and the discs are 24mm thick. think corsa ones are 20mm

Bigger calipers on the 2.0 brakes, might be thicker discs but not sure on that.
