think the baffler in my scorpion back box has come loose - and rattles loads at around 1000 - 1300 revs, which dunt sound nice at all while pulling away.
dont want to spend another 150+ on a new back box so any ideas on how to fix it? ive tried pushing it back into place but thats a bit stupid tbh.

are you sure its your backbox, i had same symptoms - turned out i needed a new cat

my old scorpian back box had a loose baffle too .. but it had done alot of miles and been on the car for along time .. i tried a few things to cure it but couldnt

Same thing happened to me, managed to remedy it by replacing the rubber mounting rings.

just been out to hava gander and by the looks of it its not the heatshield at all.
just hadme car serviced and mot'd so i dont think the cats gone.....

its a common scorpian problem....they all do it after time.. same as blitz nur spec.
did you not fill your warrenty form in?

erm UH OH!
i ordered it over the internet and only got an invoice with it.
They shud give me a replacement if i have the invoice and dates etc... as it has a lifetime guarantee?

it has a lifetime guarantee if you fill in the scorpian warrenty form (supplied with the exhaust) within 20 days of purchase..
i didnt, and i also have a baffle gone

balls.
sounds bloody awful aswell. pffft. i cant remember if i filled it in as ive had it half a year or so.
i'l ring up the dealer tomorrow and see if i can sneak my way round it

doubtfull mate.......maybe find someone with a tig welder to rip open the box.....tack the baffle back in and then reweld it......
thats what im thinking of next...

i mite just hitch it really high agenst my bumper and innertube it to stop vibrations?
