and cheersw rob that helps knowing its normal on digi dash there so big block looks extreme when it goes to fourth bar

drain it, flush the system and fill up with new coolant and water.

is there certain types of coolant for certain miles etc similar principal to oil or just any

bear in mind gril all blocked up etc



was going to run cold air feed to filter at weekend along with an extra one or two channeling air to the engine get huge air to engine to cool even more


good idea or bad?

no need for extra cooling to the engine. seems fine to me from your description

think heads going porus tho will cross that bridge when it gets worse as not mega exspensive fix

there is, but you don't want your engine running at 82 degrees. it's not good.

aii mine runs quite cool, never rly goes above 90, at start of guage unless on long jourey. will tell you what mine runs at craig when get digidash in

bass crazy, go one www.machinemart.co.uk and look for coolant tester. Only £4 or so.

found out why gets hot......... the fan dont kick in...

fan should come on around 100 degrees

flush out the radiator. No end of gunk could be at the bottom blocking up the fan switch or whatever it is. My car had the same issue

goes right up to fith i tested today sixth is red so its going well over and still no kicking in it should kick in on fourth ive been told then drops it back to third???

not a clue dave didnt even know where it was till beardy told me lol

i want it to kick in on fourth then its running nice temp like u say at about 95-100

I'd say get a cooler running CTS if you were using it on the track alot, same with an oil cooler, but you wont be.
