I know i asked before etc but i finally managed to hook up to live via plugging an ethernet cable into the back of my router and using the connection that is on my PC.
I connect to LIVE fine and can use all the things associated with the Dashborad i.e download demos etc
When i go live on a game (Pro Evo 6, Fifa 07 and GOW) my can manage about 5-10 minutes at the most and it kicks me off. Now this isn't doing my rankings any good at all as it looks like i disconnect all the time but i don't my connection is lost.
Can anyone give me any advice on what i can do to correct this?
My router is a Belkin one and my internet is Via NTL

On my router settings that i can change on the PC i have something that says:
Lease Time > Forever
The length of time the DHCP server will reserve the IP address for each computer.
Is this correct?

plug an ethernet cable from router staright to Xbox. forget the PC. then just power up the 360 and the router and the 360 should be given an IP address.

you should just be able to plug the PC into one of the ethernet ports on the router, and the xbox should go into a seperate ethernet port.
then it should connect fine,
here there is a useful guide on here, it helped me,
