Put it this way - Nvidia still have not released thier final drivers for it! (there are beta ones out there but they are not a patch on thier XP equivalent)

Oem is either 32 or 64 bit and the retail has both.

Why would have nvidia released graphics drivers yet?

Consumers can't get vista till the end of the month.

They will quite obviously have working drivers out by the time vista is launched.

why would you bother to buy non OEM?
I havent checked what OCuk consider OEM equipment.

IT may be mice and keyboards, or motherboards and processors.

IF i have to buy another hard drive, it wont be the end of the world.

Hi there,
Im just enquiring regarding your recent emails.
I was wondering what items you are able to ship with the OEM versions of Vista.
Do items such as mice and keyboards constitute, motherboard, processors?
Or would there be no questions asked if i placed the order online for just the software?

I look forwards to hearing back from you, Regards Adam Venn

You do know that OEM versions of vista limit your hardware upgrades? With OEM versions you can upgrade anything except for your motherboard. If your install a new/upgraded motherboard your are required to buy a brand new licence. So anyone planning to upgrade their motherboard more than twice during Vistas life span is better off with a retail version (no upgrade limits).

Rob_Quads, they gave it to the company i work for at the end of November, mainly to get used to it before its on general release and all our clients start asking us how to use it etc. we got 10 licenses for the company and theres only 3 of us, so we've each other a license at work and one at home
