Got £900.00 to spend at work on a PC only from dixons using reward points (also has to be in stock) what do you think of the below??
I want a pc with flatscreen, that can copy cd's and not slow.

That looks like the best bet for that price from dixons.
Doesn't seem to have a vista upgrade but thats not that big a deal.

John - What is a vista upgrade? This one has it, but is not a better spec (i think)

Just means you can upgrade to the latest version of windows for 8 quid or something like that.
If you are trying to spend the 900 quid i'd buy the 1st one though and worry about vista at a later date.

did you go for the first one in the end then?
if you DO decide to upgrade to Vista make sure all the software you're using at work is compatible. alot of stuff isn't at the moment

Yeah got the first one, but needs sorting loads of error messages on their and programs on there that dont load up, anyone had problems with dixons pc's?

get someone to build you a really decent spec pc for about £500-600 quid and spend the rest on a shoot hot monitor...
you will get a lot better machine for the money imo

Through work - they can only give me an allowance of £900 on dixons website only.
