has ne1 ever claimed against the council or goverment etc for a new set of wheels? the roads round my arear shit and i dented 2 wheels and nearly wrote the bloody car off becoz of a hole in the road. ne advice/info is appreciated thnks

take loads off pics off the road where the hole is! make sure the date is set on the camera so the date comes on the pic when printed out, take pics off the wheels also including dates and time on the pics!
then ring the council up saying what happend,
(it a garuntee that they will be out repairing the road as soon as they get a complaint) so might be worth while going back and taking pics off when they have fixed it also with date and times, then if council refuse to take any action go speak to local citzens advice,

I know personally one person who has had money off Fife council for this reason..

Take pics of the holes with a dated newspaper in sight with the date clearly visible..and date set on cam etc...And then of wheels and damage...

Take it to local council office and ask to see somebody about it and they will point you in the right direction...

emailed a complaint almost rite afta it hapnd, next day the roads wer fixed cldnt get a foto but they missed 1 of the pot holes so gonna take pics first thing 2mo, ma mum works in a solicitors office so gonna get an official complaint put in an c wot happens then, cheers for the info

i took all the relevant steps of taking heaps of photos before going to the council about a wheel that got majorly damaged by a huge pothole. Still never got a penny from them
