The cally likes to drink juice, and as colin says sitting in traffic burning £££ on the way to work can wear a little thin
I have a 1.28v as a second car now and even thats bad on fuel, im starting to really really want a diesel :O
Im considering changing to an audi a3 tdi sport coz im fed up using a lot of optimax to crawl to work in rush hour traffic - probably how my mpg so bad!

I haven't really got the coin to go mad with fuel with the miles I do, so I care. It's why I drive a diesel.

Same here. Thats why i drive a TD, an old diesel which isn't actually that noisey (apart from i need to sort out fan belt which is noisey so car sounds fucked)
I set the tripometer everytime at the petrol station and use that, do 150 miles to my 15 quid then repeat, after a while end up with a surplus and do a few miles on that.
Maybe i'm old before my time.
