Looked good, showed some good early touches and he looked very comfortable on the ball.

He linked well with Rooney ... and showed good touches and played most the game on his own up front with Rooney and Ronaldo deep behind him

It's weird that people are surprised at him doing well tbh, I mean in general, he has been consistantly good at Celtic, I've watched him alot on Sky in the Spanish league, he came on and turned a Champions league final around playing big parts in both goals, I wasn't surprised how well he played today, it was just normal Larsson.

He is a superb player still, what is he 34, could go on for years yet...

his legs might slow down but the touch and footballing brain doesn't

In relation to my query, i haven't watched a lot of him, obviously seen him in high profile barca games, always knew he was a great player, but i never really followed SPL either so for me this will probably be the most i see of him I remember a while back there was a thread stating he wouldn't really do much for utd. etc.etc. i just wanted to know if he seemed to gel well with new players, and looked comfortable against a premiership team. (i know the answers to both but as i said i missed the game and just wondered if people thought he performed competently, looked comfortable) sounds like he did

They were opinions of rival fans who looked at it at face value, they've signed a 35 year on loan from a Swedish outfit, big deal.

He's proved after an hr or so of football he'll score goals it's what he does.

I think he'll do very well at utd and i think if he stays until the end of the season i could see him scoring maybe 12 - 15 goals.

Very good business by fergie, if only Rafa could have pulled this off

Very good player, looked as if he's played with rooney and ronaldo for a few seasons before hand, looked very comfortable.

If he plays like that for the rest of the time they have him then good business.

But to judge him from just one good game for them is ridiculous...christ if so them Baptista and Aliadiere must be the best two Arsenal players ever

I agree it is a little premature. Hope he stays on though. Strength in depth and all that

How long is Saha out as he limped off the other night didnt he?

So could mean more time on the pitch for Larsson than most thought he'd get.

Dont worry i'll be dragging up all the threads in 12 games time, stating i was judging him as a legend for my own club and seeing him through tinted specs
