when lowering a corsa b - has anyone come across the problem of the door pillar, in line with the bottom of the window, cracking?!
was at scarppy on sat for some odds n sods n there was a guy with an sri, lowered and he told me it was a common problem with corsa's when they are lowered,

The early shells (-97) are prone to cracking B pillars, lowered or not.
The later shells (97-) don't do this as Vaux tinkered with it.

so v reg is - what - 99 plate aint it so this shold be ok?!
cant remember what reg this guys was - think it was pre 97 like but couldnt be %100 sure though

even if it is lowered?! its not at the min but do need it doing at least at the front as its on stilts!

My 97 Corsa has a cracked pillar on standard suspension, only the driverside though, both have gone on my mates his is a pre 97 though

The most annoying thing about 3 door Corsas...I've repaired mine and I'm about to lower her next week. I'm expecting them to come back tbh (pre 97 SRi).
I've ordered strut braces (front and rear) and the more I think about it the more I wonder if it might actually make the problem worse?
