Ok my immob started playin up a rite while ago but recently the car has been startin first time everytime...
but last nite it wouldnt, just strted and then died, as happens with immob faults...and now when i need to go home...yes its stiill not startin.
anyway i can temp fix this til i get it home to garage...
like pull fuse out or check wires or what.
i think it may be cd player related so im gonna pull it out and see what happens then

What car?

Does the EML light flash when you try to start the car?

tired more times , dont wanna try anymore til i have an idea....
sore on battery.
thing is the cd player will automatically come on when the key ignition barrel contacts are toched ie when the key is pushed in hard...is this normal..theres def somthing amis wi that cd player

OK. There's 2 chips. One on the Key, and it "talks" to another chip and lets it start the car. Have you got a spare key for the car? Have you tried it?

no spare key unfortunately
im guesin there no temp fix
what about the old nova trick of turning hazard light switch around?

AFAIK the car won't start with the hazard switch trick. Can try taking the shiop out of the key and sticking it to the Ignition barrell. That might work. My chip is playing up at the moment

its normally the aerial round ignition barrel that is at fault not transponder in key
