As said he hasn't got a big budget, he has a wife and kid to support, plus is expecting another child. Money is tight and he needs a cheap and effective option, as I originally stated.

Nope, only advice on there I'm afraid, no wannabe comedians. Oh and thanks for that useful input, I bet your parents are proud.
Also for all those who say about abttery and ht leads, a few years ago we once had an orion nicked off our driveway 3 times in one week.
First time they brought an ht lead (as we always used to take it out), so we took the battery out, so they came back with a battery, then on the 3rd time, they took the steering wheel out so we couldn't use the car.
