He used to be on Liverpools books didnt he?

Was a nippy little winger, saw him a few times for the reserves, but he looked a little light weight to come through into the first team.

Sure was bud, got released a wee while ago! Played aginst him at boys club level a few times, good player but your right, a wee bit lightweight

I saw him a few times, the one I most remember was a derby game for the reserves when they played at Southport (about 2yrs ago now) and he was quality. Looked as if he could of been one who would come through into the first team squad and knew there was a buzz about him around the ground when speaking to others at matches.

But he needed to be stronger to do that and never did. A few seasons in lower divisions might do him some good though and could toughen him up.

good with both feet as well. he was never really head and shoulders above the rest of us at school but I think getting professional coaching has done him a lot of good....we all went on the piss
