Ours is overpriced too, we were advised to put it on for 210k, but my mum decided on 220k, which is a lot for a semi detatched round here, even with an extra bedroom and a corner plot...

its on their website, but I'm not gonna link it, as it basically has my whole address

a board went up this morning, so that might have worked too

just seems quicker than I was expecting, but then it's an area with a high demand for property at the moment

Had a house before that was sold as soon as the board got put outside, literally.

Wasn't advertised anywhere or anything.

another house in the village Sam, slightly smaller (less bedrooms) but has a big outhouse thing, which used to (and could again) be a double garage.

I'll show you at some point

my mum and dads old gaff had 4 viewings booked in the first 2 hours for the following day (mum wanted a tidy up) and each of those 4 made offers for the full asking price.

Its interesting that the interest rate increase has done little to slow the demand as yet. More still to come?

interest rates will only slow the rate of people moving just to upgrade as they have a little extra cash now. It wont stop those who HAVE to move for work, family expansion, etc.
