will it pass with these problems or will they need to be sorted first:
1. horn only works when steering wheel is turned to the side (richbrook steering wheel)
2. hazard warning light button is really tough to press in but does work just takes a bit of a beating to turn it on and off.
3. spare wheel that doesnt fit over the front brakes.
and i think thats it.
cheers matt

do you have to have a spare wheel in? sure the first one will fail but doubt the second as it does work

From what ive learnt from personal experiences with garages:

All i know from the spare wheel is that is has to have a legal tyre, but if it doesnt then just remove it, as they cant mention it in the mot if you dont have one.
As long as the mot person isnt to strict then the hazard light if its functional shouldnt be a problem.
The horn is a bit of a problem, if the steering wheel is straight forward its not going to work, so i would try and figure that out for sure, perhaps take the wheel off and check the wiring.

This is what i would do in the garages in cornwall as they are really stupidly strict down here, and if they see cars modified then they would find the littlest excuse to fail it.

they can nopt fail you for a bald spare as they are not legally allowed to check in your boot

even police can not do you for having a bald spare

just try and make sure u can sit in the car and show them they work and u should be ok

Why not change the wheel back to the original for the test?
