Something quick, reliable and good looking, with a nice interior, for under 5k, which isn't a killer on insurance.

I've driven the 1.8, and 2.2. I didn't think the 1.8 was too bad. Has got just enough to make it move along nicely, without being very thirsty.
My dad has a Linea Rossa Cabriolet. I'm led to believe these are quite rare? I think that's only 1.8, but again its nice to drive.
The 2.2 is pretty nippy, even in a big-ish car. I'd settle for a 1.8 if I found a perfect example. If not keep looking for the 2.2.
