Jusrt switched broadband providers and decided to get a wireless routr at the same time (netgear iirc)... anyhoo, when it comes will i be able to pick up the internet on my work laptop which has wifi built in? it currently gives me the option to pick up things like public wifi and ive tryed stealing other peoples but they all have security enabled

Yes...

The instuctions are usually fairly detailed, but you'll have to wire the router to your laptop first of all 'cos wireless is usually disabled by default. Follow the step-by-step to enable it and you're away...
