Is there any way I can send a message out whenever somone tries to breach my firewall. My internet in the flat comes through a LAN which all the people in the bulding connect to. I think that there are some l33t haxors here who are trying to find firewall-less computers or something because I keep on getting people attemting to get in. I want to send them a message saying fuck off

Depends what the type of connection is, your firewall could be reporting harmless stuff caused by people browsing NETBIOS type shit (port 139), or could be people infected with worms which normally scan the local subnet before they scan the internet to infect more people.
Got any more details on how they are trying to connect? Ports? UDP/TCP?

It's always the internal IP: 10.20.30.255
My firewall says: Intrusion attempt detected: Protocol scan (protocol > 134)
Direction: Inbound
Protocol: IP 139
Thats all the info my firewall gives me. It's the same IP every time too.

That sounds just like what willay described.
There is no need for a firewall anyway tbh.

Came with F Secure and Windows gets pissed off if it's turned off so I'll leave it on.

To sort that problem, start, run, services.msc, disable security center.
