Well.........got a producer, Came onto a roundabout, there was a car coming round, didn't see it at all as had shit headlights, so had to get out the way of it quick. Police car seen me do that followed me along a 50mph road, said i was doing over 60, when i wasn't.
So pulled me and the usual, have u been drinking ect ect, got a producer for 'wreck less driving' or as the copper put it 'like a arse!' Was a real Badger!!
Annoying thing is i would have seen the car if it didn't have candles for headlights.
So probably looking at 3 points and 60quid lighter, if thats what the court decides.

A producer is a small document which requires you to attend a police station with the documents requested by the officer - see producer and it states which to produce
a court summons is a letter which you receive through the post, requesting you to attend a hearing.
you can get a court summons for not producing your documents, this process aint instant.
the two documents are not the same, a police officer canot give you a summons, but he can give you a producer.
oh ad if you were not driving too fast then even tho you saw the car late you should have been able to break safely - unless it was a complete blind corner then if they wanted they could try "Driving without due care"

Well that's no proof! If they were a bit behind you on the road and you were doing to 50mph of course they would have to go faster than you to catch up - if they stayed at 50mph aswell then the distance between you and them would remain the same.
Sounds to me like he's trying to put the shits up you tbh.

you dont get read your rights when you get a producer. All it is, is a bit of paper telling you to go to the station with the documents within 7 days, if you dont do it then you get sent a court summons (about 4-5 months later) and another chance to show your documents within 7 days. If you fail to do so then you go to court, if you do show them then your fine.
It happened to me so thats exactly how it works!!

A producer does not equal having your rights read to you at the road side.
There should be video proof from the police car as to how fast they were going iirc

it also has happened to me, with them saying if you do not produce your documents within 7 days then then it is handed over to the courts and with them sying this i can understand why linch may think he is goning to court. even so these are your rights and they are being read at the side of the road, there just not the rights when you get arrested.

yeah, anyway been handid it to them, women gave me it back, said it was all fine, as i knew it was, i then asked what now? she said' nothing, you wont hear anything else, the person who pulled you, just gave you this to scare you more than likely', then she just laughed.
So waist of my time, must have just been looking for somthing to pull me for, probably a excuse to check my car out aswell.
