When I first got my laptop my dad split the hard disc in two win 98 for school/college work and the other half XP for cars and other stuff.
Now I'm finished college and my car half is full is there any way of deleting that win 98 half then merging it with my XP car half, without formating as I dont want to lose my pics and stuff and being lazy dont want to transfer it all
Thanks

Just delete the stuff off the win98 partition then use the space.

Yes but is there a way of mereging the too without loosing or formating the whole thing. The win 98 side is just an empty space now

Will need to use PartitionMagic to stitch the two partitions together, or can do it with some of the Linux live CDs (but more complicated like this).

PartitionMagic as mentioned. Otherwise you would need to delete both, create another and format that which would lose you everything.
Also I found this although I've personally no experience of it.
