Noticed on ebay that there seems to be a heck off a lot off headlamp stobe kits / police style alternatng headlamp kits for sale, who is buying / fitting all this stuff ??
ever been fooled by an unmarked car fitted with strobes which turned out to be just an ordinary car posing as a police car ??!!
in all honesty have yet to see anyone with headlamp stobes / alternating headlamp flahers well apart from the real traffic cars that is !! just wonder how convincing they are are ??

Lad at work makes them and sells them on the bay. He had one fitted to his zetec s a while back, said whenever he got owned in a race (quite often) he would drop back a bit until out of site then floor it up to the guy with the lights flashing lol.

bloke did this to me on the a127. was doing 60mph and some muppet in a huge car (think it was a vectra or omega) comes racing down then slows down and didn't let others into the ''fast'' lane. when he pulled over i went passed him as i didn't want to be behind someone who looked like they were drink-driving. then he put the flashing blue lights on, i pulled over and slowed down then he came racing past me. retards like that should die as they could of caused a terrible accident.

and then if there were actually police inside the car we'd all be laughing at you due to being arrested for not pulling over

I'm pretty sure you don't have to pull over when flashed. If they are unmarked I believe you are within your rights to drive to the nearest police station and then pull over. Someone used this excuse that they felt threatend and didn't feel they were real police and no more was made of it.
Although if your in the middle of nowhere then this might be difficult

I think the girl this happened to phoned the local station to check if there were any undercover cars in the area, thats how she got away with not stopping.

You'll do it to the wrong person one day and you'll be laughing through a wired jaw. People who impersonate the police are cocks TBH!

Great stuff guys keep the stories comming !!
anyone with any video off these strobes working then ?? to be honest I dont think the max poower ones would convince me enough to pull over if flashed by a car fitted with them but sure if a car came up behind me with alternating headlamps flashing and more convincing strobes then maybe I would just pull over !!!!!
