say i downloaded 2 videos they are both an hour long and i want them to become 1 single 2 hour file can i merge them somehow? like so if i watch them on media player it is one file and not 2?

Just use Windows Movie Maker to join the files together...
You will probably loose quality though as the files will have to be re-compressed into one file.
