right theres so many strut braces out there and there all different shapes, ive got a 1.6 sport 2000 reg. is this the right 1 for it? would it be the same as the gsi 1?

yeah that should fit, the GSI one has three bolt holes on the one side (maybe the sport does aswell), but yeah it looks like it would fit. Email then if in doubt.
