your going to need to some how:
make the slam panel a load bearing member
make a catch system, use a BMW or a ford fiesta catch, it bonnet pins
make a hinge system, that not only hinges the bonnet, but lifts it clear of the hearlamps etc
work out, how items such as washer jets etc will be piped in
work out how you ever be able to work on the front of your car again

From what i see he wants a bonnet that hinges from the front, seems quite a bit of hassel to me

Saw the hinges off, drill some holes in the bonnet and cross member, then use cable ties to secure it all together.
