OMG!

Saxo built better than a Corsa What a joke.

A saxo's interior is held together with flimsy clips which break all the time (well more often than the Corsa anyway )

The dashboard goes all soft on hot days

the panels dent by just pushing your thumb on them

need I go on???

I love the little Saxo's, AX's, 106's etc... there cheap, light and fun. But thats all they are. The Corsa B is way better put together. Put an LET in the front of your 106 Steve and it'll have jump out before you reach the 60ft stage

Back to the Vtec in Saxo....

Saw this at Autosport. Very well put together car indeed!!! Can't believe people are dissing it! 14.2 is not to be sniffed at. That is a good time for any road car.

what i am saying is, all thes corsa owning people will sit ther and take the piss out of a saxo for its cheap build quality.

Yes it is cheaply built, im not denying that, but a corsa is also cheaply built and wether or not it is "slightly" better built than a corsa is debatable.

But this does not give you any high ground to take the piss when the very car you drive is equally, if not as close too, as poorly built

I drive a mini not a corsa...

Secondly, its not that pugs are cheaply built, just not built right imo. The parts are just as good as the corsa parts imo, just not put together as well as the baby vaux.

My corsa was built 10X better than my 106

Never had an arch fall off the corsa
never had to replace the driveshaft
never had to replace the steering rack
never had to replace the clutch (corsa did more miles)
never had an idling problems (loads with the gti)

Need I go on. Would still rather have the gti though but they are built like shit Steve

at the end of the day there all cheap lil cars and there aint much betweem em, not considering the respective ages.

and just to also add the corsa cant be that well made, as when i had my fuel tank replace the bloke said finding additional holes in the tank of a corsa isnt that uncommon. also i've had problems with the seat belt mechanism and the fuel injectors on my corsa aswell.
