Had a bit of bird keech on the bonnet of my car, gave it the wet cloth treatment.........not all of it came off, it was dark, I was being impatient & wanted it removed, stupidly scrubbed the remainder off with the cloth & now ive got swirly scratches on my bonnet Whats best to treat this with?? Ive tried t-cut followed by autoglym polish but it still looks like someones been at it with a wire brush

get some g3 or g4 cutting compound on it, made by farecla and what nearly all bodyshops use!

or if its really bad you may need to get it machine polished out, go to a local bodyshop and ask if they could run the mop over it!
slip the a fiver and they will be happy!

if you run your finger nail over it and can feel the dip then it wont polish out, if you cant feel it a bodyshoip should be able ti run over it with a mop to take it out.
Getting scratches out by hand is toough due the temperatures required to break down the better polishing compounds.
Im sure martin c knows a guy that could help is he not near you?
