Well, after writing the corsa off last saturday, my workmate had an old cavalier sat on his driveway collecting cobwebs, so an agreed price of £25 with no tax or mot and i was laughing. I got another work colleauge to put it through its mot, it failed on front disks shagged, split wipers, rear numberplate and the indicator stalk stuck on main beam.

Made a phone call to my mate who works in a car parts place - number plate sorted

Whipped the old indicator stick out of my corsa - lights sorted

set of discs + pads from work - discs sorted

Wiper blades lying about the workshop - on they went.

So, spent a grand total of £42 getting her through the mot

total of £67 to get me mobile again! tax on her tomorrow and im away!

Heres some pics

no rust on her anywhere apart from the rear arches just starting to go. Giving her a damn good t-cut tommorrow too i think

Don't bother modding it. You might even break even when you sell it if you split it and make your money back on the alloys.
