no, you would need Tv in to get tv on ur pc, tv out means you can watch your pc on a tv

errr NO it a tv out so you can use your pc on a tv
to use your pc to watch tv you willl need a tv card or usb tv stick thay start from around £20 for an a cheap one. If you want one with dvb-t (freeview) and duel tuners your looking at £50 ish for a hauppauge t 500

freeview wont work in my area so might aswell just get a normal one
