Hey guys. Went out for a drive tonight and found that my engine management light was coming on and when i tried to change gear, the car would drop revs and cut out. The thing is its idling (think thats how you spell it, lol) perfect, its when i drive off it starts this. At one point it sounded Subaru-ish, like running on 3 cyclinders. I just dont know whats up.

Any thoughts?

a fault code check is a must, but throttle position sensor or vehicle speed sensor are possible faults.
