i have a corsa with xe redtop engine in put i little bit board with it now and want a chance. i am thinking supercharge it or turbo but i have been told lot bad things bout turbo cars. are the let engines good or do they brake alot and what other bits would i need. all the gear box and mounts will be the same wont they

the LET engines are fine, will go on for ages, you only start getting problems when you start to push the engine to edge of its limits. bigger turbos, more boost, etc, without taking into account the rest of the internals and making them stronger.

as i have got the xe engine in mine now i wont need alot more to fit a let will i. are the engine looms the same

No, looms are different, so is the ECU and AFM.

you could go down the route of throttle bodies gives you more useable power and thay sound the tits

Do use use different gearbox mounts as they use a different box? F28?

F28 uses different mounts. Though you can use an F20, the torque is often too much for them though, but they are so cheap it doesn't really matter.
