theres three of us trying this, theres a thread somewhere with a link to novaload, was a guy on there that got his nova running pretty well, but the jist of it is nova sr cam, 421 manifold and decat, astra 1.6 spi inlet manifold and 1.8 cav throttle body should see an improvement

its easier to drop a 1.4 in than start stripping down a 1.2 to put cams n things in

I had those mods on my old 1.2i engine, the cam makes the biggest difference.
It is worth it if you find the parts cheap.

Dont forget tho on a corsa if you remove the cat, you will get problems come MOT time, and fitting a 1.4 injector will push emissions up too

link to thread telling you all you need.
iv got the nova sr cams and 1.4 throttle body on mine at the moment and there is a noticable difference feels like it wants to move now (if that makes any sense) 50 to 60 in 5th seems to pull a bit better than it used to. sounds nicer aswell nice burble when at idle. will be getting sri manifold (or sportex 4-2-1) and decat i think next.

Corsa Sri 1.4 MPi engine, loom and fuel pump will cost you less than the cam, exhaust and inlet mods on a 1.2 8v, and you'll have more power and torque.

That the 16v engine? Mate has a 16v engine, although it has bent valves. May look into the cost of fixing it up
