Anyone here have it? What's it like?

I played 7 and 8 and thought they were amazing (more so 7). Since then I never really got into the others.

Just wondered if 12 was any different from the previous ones.

FF7 is the best game I've ever played also

The story, characters, fights, magic, weapons etc... all amazing.

I am playing FFXII at the mo (I have completed 7+8+9+10+10-2 sad I know but I do have a life honestly lol) and its SHITE worse than 10-2 the most BORING rubbish crap, I HATE the battle system worst ever, story line.. what story line... i still dont get it, and as for the music... nicked from a previous FF game.... 8 is still unbeaten IMO. oh and one of charcators looks identical to yuna from FF10... so far there is no side game (cards etc) the world map is sand, sand and more sand and the cities you cant explore very well (go in any houses) its dull and I usually would of completed an FF game by now, but I can't be bothered to play it as its so dull! apprently this game has a different writer from all the others...

done VII 3 times and VIII 2 times, i did EVERYTHING though.

chalked up about 160 hours on 8 then decided that was enough

I played 7 to death. Maxed out all the characters, found and mastered all the materia, beat all the weapons etc...

What a game.

Yeah FFXII, like I said I haven't completed it yet, but I can't see it getting much better, try reading the reviews on Amazon, although I doubt they are much different to mine!

7 is. I could argue about this all night

10 looks great sure, but the voice acting is abysmal at times and the story isn't exactly great. I just didn't connect with the characters like i did with 7.

FF7 is probabaly one of the most over rated games ever known to man.

It is a good game indeed, but its far from being the best FF game, even in recent years. Its a shame its such a 'fanboy' game these days, really really ruined it. My favourite is 10, followed by 8. 12 is ok and can be interesting, but after a few months of playing it i'm still not 100% convinced myself.

'DarkBahamut' lol. Whats so good about 10, its really short, and I liked it before they could speak with annoying american accents, and the only good thing about 7 was racing chocobo's!
