rear lights aint on it anymore i got them brand new for a tener and stuck them on for a month or 2 then sold them for 30 quid. result. got smoked fronts now and black tail lights. try get some new pics soon.

glad the lexus lights are off Adam.....Get MHW smoked rears, think there is a group buy on them in General chat going on..

no worries should have some up in next couple of weeks. gettin it all fixed at end of month. new sills gettin done and engine work and repaintin the engine and calipers etc yellow i think stands out well and matches engine (what you think?).


car still has mint bodywork apart from couple of small door dings from other peeps cars. and bit stone chipped on front bumper. replaced pretty much all general parts over the past year.

been off the road for past 4 months due to funds

and so there was no winter mishaps.

gettin some tints as well and i think a remus centre section, and poss some carbon doorcards as per thread in gen chat.

Interior still ok in it? door cards etc were good nick were they not? If they are I would leave interior...

Not sure on yellow calipers as yeah they go with engine but then you can't see engine etc, know what I mean....

general parts? what engine parts etc? ball joints as said?

I never had any trouble from engine really when I had it / or ball joints / bearings etc..

All the money I spent was getting interior sorted, few wee outside touches, jacking point covers(had none when I got it) and side reps etc...

Interior was a bit of a mess when I bought, I replaced the whole lot with another Gsi one, with rear headrests etc...and alot of the dash parts and that, steering wheel, put a fan on it as it never had one..Then about £400 on MOT before I sold it to you...

interior still mint wantin new driver seat cause of the worn bolster, so if anyone no of any for sale let me no please.

i like the yellow caliper idea seen a red vectra the other day at mcdonalds it looked minted but opinions welcomed dont want it to look wank.

yeah think you right bout interior carbon doorcards do look a bit tacky really.

got new hydraulic lifers, crank seal and sensor, new induction kit, gearbox, clutch, brakes, wishbones, baljoints, cv joints, and a service, i had a power boost valve and chipped ecu but never fitted them as had to sell them for funds but got other plans on the horizon.

good good, go for the caliper idea and then easy to change if you don't like it

yeah even the other Gsi interior I bought the bolster was worn..Is it the seat that has been stitched still? It's got the cover from another GSi underneath it...Nice and comfy..My missus stitched it
