I saved two of my personal folders prior to re-building my PC. When i've copied them back across from my Memory stick, i'm getting an error message when trying to open them
EM 'The file .... is not a personal folders file, only it is! I have about 200mb of E-Mails that i now can't get hold of.
I've tried downloading a couple of PST repair programs off download.com but they are shite.
Also tried Scanpst but that didn't work either
Anyone able to help with this one?
Thanks

so you have a .pst file you wish to now use in outlook?
File -> Import & Export -> from a file -> Select PST -> Browse to the file and it will import.
u2u me if you still have problems

Same version of Outlook - 2003.
I've tried the usual File, Open.... Import / Export.... Data File Management. I've tried scanpst to try to repair them - i just keep getting the same EM, stating they aren't a PST file.
I've tried opening them in different versions of outlook on different PC's.
I've tried using scanpst & other programs to repair them.
Frustrating this is i only need 1 E-Mail out of a 100mb pst file.
