Goodyear, Bridgestone are very good tyres, youll pay more for them though.
Toyos etc are cheap decent tyres.
Yeah well I'm fed up of people saying this.....and I seriously doubt most of the people saying it have even looked up the price of a toyo tyre let alone bought one, because on www.mytyres.co.uk if you are buying 195/45/16's, the toyos are £46.40 a corner and the goodyear gsd3's £51.20 a corner...so presumably the classification of a tyre being "budget" or "cheap" is a difference of £4.80 per tyre??
i got mine for under £35 each, my goodyear Eagle F1's cost over £210 for 4
i'd call a price diff of over 70quid pretty big.
Toyos are good, but not the best in terms of grip and wear quickly i found. Potenzas were good, but best all round for the money is Goodyear Eagle F1 imo

Right....well you didnt give a website or anything to back that up, and just to clarify which tyre we are talking about (as goodyear make cheaper tyres than the F1 GSD3) it is the toyo proxes T1-R, also you didnt state which size the tyres were bought in, as this makes a difference too.

tyre wear isn't what i look for i dont care how fast they wear out as long as they keep ma ass on the black stuff. toyo's imo are good in dry and wet although true enough they do wear pretty fast.
