1.4 16v

car runs ok when its first started up, but when the revs drop to 1k it idles quite lumpy any idea's? im sick of spending money on the thing tbh

IAC valve or air leak

sprayed all the vac pipes manifolds etc with wd40 and the engine never went haywire .... so i guess that rules the vac leak out

i took it to the garage today and supposedly had the throttle body cleaned but i doubt he's done the icv, he did say the throttle was coked up in oily stuff... maybe the icv is the same idiot mechanics

they all get coked/oiled up due to the ecocrap system

spraying carb cleaner on the IAC can actually make things worse

doubt hes even took the icv off mate, probably seen the t.b coked up and thought thats the problem

whats the percentage it could be the icv then ? everything else has been changed dispack, plugs, leads, egr, etc
