hi, i have had the ecu read on my 99 plate 1.2 sxi corsa, and it has come up with the following:
p1405 egr valve FDBK incorrect signal
what does the FDBK stand for?

not idea, but sounds like an EGR fault, actutor test the EGR valve to check the figures

You could clean it, and it should sort it for a bit, but it will fuck up again. Might aswell change it.

Nothing. They get buggered over time. They let air flow past the throttle body. Because they move all the time they bugger up.

Not really. For the cost you might aswell change it. They're only about £30

where from, they are £150 from vauxhall and £72 of ebay if you ca point me to a cheaper site i would be greatful

ive got the same problem with my gsi. spent about £500 tryin to put it rite. had egr replaced 3 times (2 genuine valves and 1 not) and engine management still comes on. i think its more of a ecu problem. try regal, they'll get an egr for a good price :-)
