I keep talking to Richie about the pond matt and he keeps telling me off
He had to nip home and see his parents today and id planned to go in and chill for a bit and ended up planting the bedding plants and started ripping up the old turf its hard work but quite addictive!

Yesterday Richie cultivated the grassed area, i dug out my borders and we have put the grass seed down
Took me ages trying to get it level-ish as the garden naturally slopes down towards the house! Still slopes now, but not like before thank god!
Finishing at 11.15 today to go home and get the fencing up the right hand side finished... then garden work will have to wait while i save to buy the concrete to level the old garage, and fencing to fence round the parking spot
money money moneyyyyy

All i can say is... I HATE LAP FENCE PANELS
They are an absolute nightmare to modify from their original 6x6ft size.
Anyway.... more pics!

Those type of fence panels really dont like wind & there doesnt seem to be any big meaty posts holding them down.

so how have you actually done the fence? a wooden frame behind the panels so the top of the panels are not secured or does the framework secure the whole panel? Just asking i erect fences a few times a week thats all
Looks miles better though

wooden supports attached to the concrete posts that are about 3 foot high, theres a 6 foot post in the middle that supports the top although there arent supports at the top all the way along the fence
