Need a new phone as my 6230 is slowly dieing. No point in me getting Pay Monthly as I only spend about £10 a month on credit and don't need a super phone to warrant spending more every month.
Seen I can get the 6280 for £100 on PAYG, just wondered if anyone has previously had one, their thoughts etc? Going to look at them in the shop before I commit to buy when I get back as I'll be buying online.
Is the 6300 better, as this looks pretty good?

brill phone good camera, get a 2gb memory card for loadsa pics n vids
unfortunatly mines shite and keeps crashing, recieved a message and goes blank or turns itself off

I've had a 6280 for about 6 months now, nothing to write home about, but it does the job. Sometimes randomly reboots itself, well let's face has there ever been a perfect Nokia phone?
Apart from that it's good.

Sounds promising.
I like the look of the 6300 but it isn't 3G. If I'm going to spend a bit on a phone, I want it to be pretty modern.
Would you say spending £100 is worth it?

If it has to be a 3G phone, yeah I would get the Nokia 6280, another 3G phone you might want to consider is the Sony Ericsson K610i, on O2's web site it is £129.99, similar spec, but is less chunkier and lighter than the 6280, and that one is a normal 'monoblock' phone, not a slide one.

Just looked again on their web site, there is also the Nokia 6233 which is another monoblock phone, for £129.99.

Don't like the K610i, the missus has it, and it's too girly. Not a fan of Sony Ericsson's, too animated for my like. My Z600 was continuously freezing.
I did like the look for the 6233, but wasn't 3G video calling etc.

Went to have a look at it in the o2 shop today - really like it. Not too big that you'd get annoyed with it, not too small that you'll end up breaking it.
Hopefully they'll still have them on offer when I get paid  was £149.99 in the shop, £99.99 online.

I have the Sirocco, the phone does look the nuts but thats about it to be honest. Im not one of these people that wants a phone to play songs and not overly bothered about picture quality. Its a bastard to keep clean tho

Arrived today - is pretty good.
Managed to use the Nokia PC Suite and cable that came with the 6280, with my 6230, so I didn't have to type in all my numbers!
