my number plate keeps falling off atm. not while im driving but when i stop leave the car for a peroid of tie like at night or at work. its stuck on with the pads.

how illegal is it to put it in my windscreen till i sort out soe brackets on the bumper so screw it on

you can get away with this, ive had mates that had done this for months and had nothing said to them.

buy decent 3M double velcro tape.... i use it on all the track cars....

the problem i have is i just need to find the brackets when i get home that go on the bumper so i can screw it on. i had a spare but dad took it and used it for some reason

the front one fell off on the way to work anyway so atm i have a yellow one in my front windscreen

Use stronger sticky stuff or velcro like AK said looks much better than screws. And you don't need any brackets etc

I drove around for months with no front numberplate at all... Couldn't find it.

I've seen loads of cars with number platesin windscreens, if Police pull you over just say that your going to get self adhesive stuff for it

When I had my bumper painted I stuck mine in the window for a few weeks lol, I never got stopped by the police at all just got a few funny looks haha

Yes this angers me, cars can go into a front facing speed camera over the limt = £60 3points

Bike on the otherhand = no points and no fine

On my way to the bodyshop last night, no numberplates on..... The policeman tried to gun me?

I was probably doing about 12 mph too, whats that all about?

Even though I am a bike rider I find it very strange indeed that I don't need any kind of frontal identification.

i never had a problem with it in the window (or not at all sometimes)i get more greif for the baby plate
