I don't rate Messi tbh. He's good but so overhyped by the Spanish press. Just like his ugly cunt of a team mate Ronaldinho. They seem to score a wonder goal then everyone thinks the sun is shining out of their arse, nevermind the fact they could've been anonymous for the other 89mins.

Ronaldinho is still a phenomonal talent, he's just a victim of the dizzying heights he reached 2 or 3 years ago when no one could touch him. If he was an 18 year old kid bursting onto the scene he would be lauded.

I have only seen flashes of Messi tbh but he looks as if he could be a good player, the comparisons with Maradona won't help any though.

Ronaldinho is a victim of his own success. Setting the bar so high week in week out and now people expect that from him constantly.

Messi will improve in time I think.

Messi is still only 18 IIRC. Was a quality goal. He will become better and more consistent. Look AT C. Ronaldo. He only managed to look good some of the time a couple of years ago, now he has matured into what I believe to be (on current form) the best player in the world atm!
