how about get a housemate? pays X amount of ££ per month, even just enough to pay half the mortgage & bills.

so.... you wont be there during the week so he/she will probs do most of cleaning etc. you still get somewhere to live on a weekend. and.... your only paying half the price!

I'd keep in this day and age, only going to get harder to get back on the property ladder.
