Thats serious low? What % interest you pay and how long is your term? I presume interest only?

Just did a check. Thats less than 3.17% on interest only. I guess if it was sorted a few years ago on a long term fixed rate

£1260pcm

Best bet is an independent mortgage advisor. We were able to borrow at 0.3% lower rate and £50k more than the mortgage company would have offered us online...

In my opinion the online calculators don't really give a true indication of what you could potentially borrow.

My mortgage was over 35 years.

Good luck to you mate Can be hard securing one at first but once you're in the door it's as easy as keeping up with the repayments.

Who's that with?

Thats doable I guess, and a fairly good fixed rate.

Thats with Halifax - I think I could have probably found a better deal but because I bank with Halifax they made it really easy to arrange.
