We signed Kuszczak on loan in the summer and it was made permanant the following day. He has said that he wants to challenge Van Der Sar for the number 1 spot and will push him all the way in training to prove his worth. So far hes mainly played in domestic cups and a handful of league games. We have Foster coming back from his 2 year loan at Watford next month and he has also said that hes going to push Van Der Sar for the number 1 spot. I can't really see the need for 3 keepers (especially with our financial dificulties  ) So whats the reckoning that Kuszczak will be making way?

Yeah, as from next season hes on a 3 year contract.

yeah he's on a perm deal
personally, i think he's a good shot-stopper but
Kuszczak = Tiabi imo
i dont like him after a few dodgy displays and i dont think he's up to it (yet) he may well be in the future
i think ben foster has a good chance of pushing van der sar next season,
imo i think it will be Van Der Sar No1 and Foster no2
with Kuszczak on loan for a couple of seasons

Did we sell Tim howard? I thought he was only loaned out to everton?
I think howard was half decent for us
