Bought this little machine a couple of months ago now, thought it was about time for a progress report.
Bought her from just outside Birmingham for £7500 with just 17k on the clock. The garage had got it from Vauxhall so mine was the first name on the logbook.
Anyways, this is how she looked for a few weeks.
very clean
but I couldn’t keep it standard coz after all, it was just a van …
so then it was on with the Irmy grille and off with the stilt springs.
a few more weeks past and I scrounged enough money together to get some sound-proofing and carpet. The arches were a ball-ache!!!
then I bought these …
(I’ve had mixed opinions on them, but I like so they stay)
it was looking better …
then finally I got my arse in gear and advertised the corsa, a lad from derby came to have a look after he’d seen it on the bay and gave me asking price, getting rid of his W reg 106 quicksilver … what can I say?
Now having money, the wheels were next, as the razor blades were getting boring
I opted for a set of 17” Wolfrace Octane Race
and that’s pretty much it upto now, apart from some OPC tinted rears and some calliper painting.
Give me your opinions!

Not too keen on the wheels, maybe try some Astra GSI wheels?
Apart from that, tidy

Looks good, for a van lol.
Not sure I like the chrome engine on the wheels.
The lights make it look much meaner, especially as there aren't 'Depos' available for Astra's etc.
Any more plans? (OPC rear lights make it look loads better too)

thanks guys, been meaning to get some pics up for a while.
astra Gsi wheels are 5stud, and so were most of the ones i liked which cut my options down loads but i'm pretty happy with it.
next bits include a Gsi front bumper, colour coded rear, coloured skirts and more sound-proofing in the back as well as a bit of stereo-ige and sprayed mirrors etc.
remapping/chipping will be done soonish too
