Great on track....pretty shite around town

If your using it everyday please do not jump straight in and get the turbo, they are crazy cars in the wet - more then you will ever expect. Even if you arent driving like a tit it can and will still go!
Have a n/a elise or vx for a year or so and then get the turbo - if thats what you want to do.
Its not worth risking your no claims bonus or your life!!!
I stacked my elise after a month of owning it, i wasnt driving like a plank i lost it into a crash barrier in the wet coming off a round about. Another elise stopped and went "dont worry about it, weve all done it in our first ones!"
So take heed - 4k claim later and it was a minor minor claim!!!! But being two clam shells you gotta replace half of the car!

You will need a nice person like myself to take you for a test drive

Thorneys? nice bloke....knows his stuff...had all my tuning work done there to date.

I cant see him offering the TB kit in the near future.....Coutenays do the SC kit (proven)

adam just go on pistonheads theres always these threads popping up in the vx forum, from what i have gathered on there the 220 is more comfortable with a fair few people using one everyday and someone saying they went from swindon to cornwall no probs and you will also need an exige to beat the 220t.

also my mate has an s2 elise, up to 80mph its quick and level with my mates e36 m3 but after that its the m3 in front and the faster they go the bigger the gap. e36 m3 would lose in every gear to a 220t
