Car has developed a rattle, coming from the drivers side of t'engine. Only noticable around 4K-5K.
What could be the problem?
Cambelt rollers?
Waterpump?
Thanks.

Mark - Has yours gone now?
CorsaB - didn't think of that! I'll check by taking the belt off.

These have now done 67K and, weren't changed at last cambelt change. Could well be....How long until catastrophic failure?

Not long if you keep going to 7k
May aswell go and get a cambelt kit mate, just to be on the safe side.

If I were you, I'd drive VERY carefully to a garage and get some new rollers on

Fook me, you didn't change the rollers! lol
There "dodgy" plastic even as new, and have a habbit of being fine one second, then crunch, belt jumps off, engine wrecked. lol
Maybe remove the upper cambelt cover and see if the noise gets louder.

Could be the PAS pump though, mine used to rattle after I drove the car about 3 miles with no fluid in, that was a horrible noise
I'd still do the cambelt though
